Welcome to my Freelance 3D / CGI Art and Illustrations page.
I am a recently graduated freelance designer situated in the Conwy valley of North Wales.
At present I am working from home and as such am available for small 3D projects or collaboration on larger CGI productions.
If you would like to discuss your 3D requirements please get in touch via the contact page and I will be happy to give you quote.
On this page you will find examples of the computer generated 3D images that I have created both during my time as a freelance 3D illustrator / artist and as a student.

Asimov Mk13
Asimov Mk13 is the current 3D Graphic project which I am developing.
This 3D animation is a personal project which I hope to develop as a demonstration of how I have grown as a freelance 3D animator.
The original inspiration for this model came from the Music Video for Björk's "All is full of Love" by Chris Cunningham.
The model originated from a tutorial published by Computer Arts and was modelled by Benedict Campbell.
As you can see, when comparing to the original tutorial, the robot has undergone a lot of changes. However, she is still to undergo much, much more development.
You can view an amiation of an earlier version of the robot on my animation page.
Keep returning for glimpses of the final 3D animation.
This 3D model of R2D2 was created using Maxon Cinema 4D and Body Paint 3D.
Rather than a freelance project, this design was created as a tutorial for a BND in 3D Game Design lesson which I covered due to staff sickness in my place of work today.
I figured that a 3D R2D2 model would be easy to make for beginners due to its simple shape and design, and is relevant to the 3D gaming industry.
I created this 3D model of a glass slipper as a freelance 3D designer for a book cover. Namely “What If Your Prince Falls Off His Horse? - The Married Woman's Primer on Financial Planning”.
Another 3D image in my collection of CGI artwork is this JCB Backhoe.
When creating this backhoe I was given the choice of five scenes.
Fair
House
Train
Pantomime set
Building site with earth moving equipment
There was no question, rekindling childhood memories of playing with Tonka Trucks in the sandpit won the day.
As requirement of the qualification I was asked to submit a report detailing how the models were built. In my usual fashion I went into this in some detail which as given rise to the opportunity to create a tutorial.
If you click here you can view the wheel and tyre tutorial.
The 3D images produced for this project were intended to be included in a word document for Robin Pike a graduate from Nottingham University. His intention was to present the document to a broadcasting company so that he could televise a lecture on how light acts in a hypothetical universe.

This room was created during the development of David Woodford's Painter Gallery website and formed part of the process of studying how the viewers attention can be placed on the painting rather than the surrounding website.
As a standalone image I quite like it and look forward to any opportunity to do some more 3D interior design.
This image was created to mimic some of the artwork over at adhemas.com, I thought it would be an interesting challenge to re-create some of their work in 3D.
